Covid-19 & Entangled Festival Planning

We’ve been planning our festival since earlier this year, so it was designed from the start with Covid-19 safety (and the potential for disruption) in mind. This is why the festival is being held outdoors and online with a mixture of pre-recorded, self-led, and live activities and events.

We’ve tried our best to provide online alternatives to any in-person events and activities as we are aware that not everyone will be able to, or want to, attend in-person events at the moment.

Our outdoor in-person events all need to be booked in advance, numbers are strictly limited, and social distancing will be in place. We will use the contact details provided through our booking system to get in touch if a case is reported to us.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, and whatever your vaccination status, we would ask that you please do not attend any of our in-person outdoor activities or events, or visit the Entangled Hub on the prom. If you have even mild symptoms, you should self-isolate and arrange a PCR test. Get more info at: We have lots of accessible alternatives to in-person events and activities available online. Many thanks for your support in keeping everyone as safe as we can

If you feel distancing is not being safely maintained at any point during one of our in-person events, please let a steward or organiser know and they will address this immediately.

The only drop-in (or drop-by) space we have during the festival is our Entangled Hub. This pop-up stand will be outdoors on the prom both weekends.

The stand itself will be regularly cleaned. Masks and hand-sanitiser will be available. Social distancing will be maintained, and we’d ask people to please be patient if there is a queue.

The hub is a place to collect self-led activities and information from, rather than a spot to gather at in large groups.

If we need to make any changes to our programme because of Covid-19 we will let all ticket holders know. We will also provide up-to-date information on this page.

If you have any questions or concerns in advance of attending an event, please contact us at:
